How about
1. 30 Hour Famine
2. Fundraiser to help families around the world get a cow or a chicken or something to help them
3. Anything you want

Anyway, I think that would be cool!

We are also picking a name for our youth group for our T-shirt/Toque things! That's right! We are making a t-shirt/toque to wear.....
Some of the names to chose from are.... C4 (like the explosives C4), C3YG, I.C.E. (In Christ's Example)

BE thinking of other names!

The last Youth Group for Cornwall was last night and it was a great time! We played games and tried to sing some songs. If you want to see some pictures of the night I am going to try and put them up on the youth group facebook page.

MCC Student Body Cafe/Open Mic Night

On Wednesday March 28 from 7 pm to 9 pm the Maritime Christian College Student Body is having a cafe/open mic night at Maritime Christian College located across from UPEI on University Ave.
Entrance will be $2 at the door and there will be snacks and drinks supplied by the student association and there will be others for sale.
There is a sign up list if you would like to do something, read a poem, sing a song, dance a jig? Anything appropriate. See Katherine, Robbie or Sarah if you have questions. Thus, there is no regular youth group this night because we hope to see you at MCC that night.

Wuv... Twewwwww Wuv... Last night Sara did a great job bringing a valentines Party to CCCYG! And Happy Birthay to Katherine who turned 19 yesterday! Kids had fun, no one got hurt tooo bad, and Mike left w/o a migraine. SUCCESS.

Hey hey! It has been a very long hiatus of blogging at this blog. However, HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that you all had wonderful vacation. It is back to school and that can only mean one thing BACK TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUPS!!!! It was a blast today. We played the MARS BAR game and a new game called CAT AND MOUSE. As well, we will be planning on future activities soon...such as swimming and hopefully if it snows we can bury people.....with snow of course. Anyway, the video above is Jenna and Katherine playing the cat and mouse game and I have to tell you that the laughter behind that would be me.

Last Wednesday's YOUTH GROUP
It wasn't filled with kids but last Wednesday's youth group was certainly fun. You have to love the Rootbeer floats and how everyone played at that park. Not to forget the fact that we had loads of laugh playing the vegetable game and also sardines.

We're looking forward for this coming Wednesday. It is the first day of the Gathering Place. We invite anyone and around Cornwall and if you're youth group wants to come, to Cornwall for this event. That's it for now....I'll be posting up videos soon and some more events. PEACE OUT!

The Cove...

"Camp is my favorite place in the whole world, and I've been to Disney World." A camper prayed that in a 60 person prayer circle at the Cove last week. We had nearly 60 high school kids there last week. We played games, went swimming, played beach bucket ball ( no broken limbs this year, one broken toe though and one black eye). We prayed alot, sang alot and cried even more. There is something about a purely christian community that can break us of ourselves and lead us to the Cross, where it all starts to make sense.

We had an INCREDIBLE staff this summer too. James, John, Valerie, Megan, Shannon, Ben, Jack, Jon, Vinnie, Ian, Mic, Susan, Mary, Charity, Liz, Craig, Sara, Keila, Jason, Anne, Jeremy, Velda, Marie, Brenda, Matt and Francine, Jerry and Laurie, Andrew and if I'e missed anyone, im sorry. You were all smokin! Thanks so Much!
